the entire clan is now in a train headed to kings cross from edinburgh after our little getaway in the scottish highlands. everything is so peaceful and beautiful here... and because scotland is known for their horridly cold winters and rainy grey weather, i was prepared for the worst! but not too bad cept for occasional sprinkles here and there. the fresh air and breeze, delicious! makes me miss spring so much! the convertible dad rented *raises brows* got quite a bit of work out in the pretty weather. everyone says we lucked out and caught the best weather in ages. yayyyy..

wow! what a mouthful to say about the weather. but i just glad to enjoy some family time and chill out a little before our little party.

just a couple hours ago, we had a little bit of a hike up to Arthur's Seat with song, the sportiest thing i've done in ages! and it felt fabulous.. now i won't feel guilty when i pig out at dinner! 

but i haven't had decent internet connection in ages! so just catching up on some lovely blogs and belated entries...

matchstick fries with truffle oil! it was delish!!! a little like eating chips! (or crisps as they call it here!! all so confusing.)

ohoh! and i nearly scored a pair jimmy choos this afternoon. and i use the word nearly very loosely because they were the PERFECT shoes in the PERFECT colour and height. but only 6 sizes too big. better luck next time, chica! :)
